We are house hunting in Janesville. We looked at a house on Greenwich Lane near Jefferson Elementary yesterday. The seller said she saw someone walking a greyhound on her street for the first time ever yesterday. Are any of you the person who was walking a hound in that area?
If we decide to move there, it would be so cool to have another greyhound family nearby.

Even if you weren't the one walking the hound, are any of you located in Janesville? Would be neat to have some other greyhound people nearby. While we haven't decided on a house for sure yet, we are pretty certain we will be purchasing a home in the area very soon.

Rusty comes to mind; he's not new to the area, but is certainly the most famous greyhound in that neighborhood to me :)

I've emailed you and Nanci, Sarah, in case it is. And there are indeed other great adopters and greys in Janesville, too.

Good luck with the house-hunting!

Rich

There are several grey-folks around Janesville and Milton area. Milton has a very nice dog park that we go to every day. Happy house hunting. :D

Thanks! We close on our house on October 4 (In Janesville near Jefferson Elementary and Schnucks). We will have to check out the dog park, for sure. We would love to meet some of the greyhound folks in the area!

Hello! We just saw this post. We are greyhound people with a fenced yard in Janesville! Our Diva is a bit lonely now...we just lost her brother Boogie last week. It would be fun to get the kids together!

Hi Rebecca,

I'm sorry to hear about Boogie. :( I remember how sad and mopey Wash was when Tawny passed this summer. He was so happy to meet with other hounds. It would be awesome to get the hounds together! Maybe it would brighten Diva's day. :)
We moved to Janesville in early October and haven't seen any other greyhounds yet, so this is exciting!

Our house is near Jefferson Elementary and Schnuck's. We also have a fenced-in yard, but our house is still a bit of a work in progress. We would be happy to meet wherever you would like.

Thanks!

Sarah
