Sol escaped his rural home around 11am cdt Mon 10/16, and was last seen just to the west near the intersection of Wall St & Little America Rd. The area is approximately two miles from the shore of Lake Superior and about two hours northwest of Marquette, MI. Another greyhound in the family remains safely at home.
Sol is a brindle male, wearing a blue martingale with tags, and about three weeks into retirement at his new home. His family is checking the area, has notified schools/buses, humane society and is contacting law enforcement.
GPA-WI will be assisting with flyer preparation, call answering and other online activities -- but anyone in this remote area and able to do on-the-ground work is urged to contact us. Otherwise, we will remain in touch with the family and others as needed to take all the right steps.
