To my Greyhound friends, I will be ten years old on June 24, and I am excited that I have made it another year. Not all of our Greyhound brothers or sisters can say that. Some have gone to the “bridge” before turning 10, either from the result of health issues or experiencing an accident. You know when we come into this world our ears a marked reminding us when we arrived, but nowhere on our body are we marked as to when we will leave this world. Now that I am in my senior years, I take things on at a slower pace and savor the moments. So I just wanted to check in to let you all know I am still alive and kicking.
John here (Zack’s guardian), first I was blessed by having Zack educate me on how to take care of a greyhound. Now I am blessed that he is showing me the way to take care of a senior. Now I know we all think our greyhound is the best (some of you have even proclaimed it in the forums), but I am sorry to tell you that only I have the best greyhound . We will let you have the title of “best greyhound” in the World or the United States, but the title of “best Wisconsin Greyhound” is ours.
Now go, get up from your computer or smart phone, and go pet, hug or for some of you smooch your greyhound(s).
