Been out of the greyhound loop for a bit, but have a few donations and a donation basket for the gala to give somebody. Can somebody fill me in as to where and when I could do so? In the Milwaukee area.

I have several items for the Resale Shop that I would like to drop off on the east side of Madison or the Janesville area. Can I do this at the same sites as for Gala donations?

Today is exactly one month until the Gala Greyhound Gathering! We need your donations to make this year’s Gala a success.

We are asking for new items suitable for using in our “bag raffles.” No donation is too big or too small, and items do not need to be dog-related. You may choose to donate a whole basket yourself, or you can donate individual items that can be put together with other donations to make up a combination basket. Successful items include (but are not limited to) liquor, gift certificates, decorative items, kitchenware/cooking, candy, dog items, and jewelry.

The goal is to collect enough to make up a total of 200 raffle baskets.

As in years past, we are also collecting more valuable items for Gala auctions. The goal is 10 to 12 items for a live auction and 15 to 20 items for a silent auction. Successful items include (but are not limited to) art and antiques, sports tickets, and vacation vouchers.

This is GPA’s biggest fundraiser of the year, and your contributions go toward helping many hounds find their forever homes. Thank you for making this Gala bigger and better than ever.
